Hayden Boring '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" defenseman/forward currently living and playing ice hockey for Spokane Braves of the KIJHL, in Spokane, WA. I graduated high school in June of 2012 and and currently taking college courses at a local college. I am strengthening my search for a college hockey program where I can make an immediate impact, as well as further develop my skills and strength. I am a heads-up team player and a hard worker, willing to do whatever it takes to win on and off the ice. I lead by example and am looking for a hockey program for which I can contribute. My goal academically is to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences/physician assistant, and I'm open to exploring opportunities at all divisions. What I am certain of, is I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the game. I had spent my high school academic years billeting and playing Midget AAA hockey in British Columbia, Canada; so I am accustomed to living away, and welcome any opportunity throughout the United States. My High School GPA was 3.2 and I had been on the Honor Roll and Work Ethic List of Distinction throughout my high school career.
