I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old. Ever since I started playing, I knew I wanted to play at a collegiate level. I know that playing at a college level is a once in a lifetime opportunity, that only can be earned. I have put in countless hours of hard work and training, on and off the ice, to develop the skill necessary to achieve this level of playing. As a hockey player, I have strong puck handling skills, which complements me in my ability to push past defenders with an unmatched speed like Connor McDavid. I am a natural team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. This last season I was elected as captain, which gave me the opportunity to assist my coach with leading practices and coaching other teammates to success. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my peers, especially my younger siblings, and make my parents proud.
