Sam Conine '20 Recruiting Profile

    My major collegiate goals are to compete at either the division 1 or 2 levels of college lacrosse. Ever since I began playing lacrosse, it has been my dream to play in front of crowds that cheer on our team, and leading those teams to a championship. My number one priority is winning ames for whatever team I play on. 

    Since starting lacrosse in late 2014, I have picked up the sport very quickly. Using my abilities that I am able to work on during basketball and cross country, as I am a tri-sport athlete, I am an athletic talent to have, whether on the court or on the field. My shot speed is currently around 85 on average, topping out at around 91. This speed, along with quick reflexes, allows for me to be able to perform precise moves on a time. I excel when dodging from any spot of the field, and consider myself to be a one-man fast break when needed, I have a high on-field I.Q. and use that intelligence to make precise passes that turn into assists.

    Amongst these things, I have the ability to rally a team during "crunch time". Multiple times, I have shown that when the game is on the line my teammates trust me when the ball is in my hands. Going on self-created runs towards the end of a close games is something that I take serious pride in. 

I strive for academic excellence, and that translates onto the field. I want to be the best in all that I do and that leads to my drive on the field. By offering me, it is a guarantee that you will be getting a hard worker who will continue to fulfil his potential all 4 years of college.
