Kade Hoogstraten '23 Recruiting Profile

As a strong Canadian attackmen my collegiate goals are to gain the highest possible education that I can achieve, as well as being able to play lacrosse at the post secondary level. I would like to be apart of a team that will push me to my athletic limits while having a strong bond with the teammates surrounding me. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I have the ability to put the ball in the back of the net from anywhere on the field, weather that’s in tight on the crease or spraying the ball from the outside. Not only being a good lacrosse player makes me a good candidate for your team but also the fact that I work hard in the classroom and currently hold a strong 3.8 GPA. What makes me different from other recruits is that I’m a natural leader on and off the field. Currently I’m a captain for my high school lacrosse team.  I was chosen to be a captain because I'm focused, I lead by example and want to get better every time I touch the field.
