Playing college lacrosse is a dream I've had since the first time I picked up a lacrosse stick. I utilize my defensive techniques to create a wall that is difficult to pass. With me doing my part, it makes the offensive player's job easier and allows us to work collaboratively as a team and score points offensively. While some players believe that scoring and winning is the most important part of the game, I think that playing as a team and having each other's backs on the field is equally as crucial to our success. I also try to be positive in tough situations; when we lose a game, it is never truly a loss because we learn and grow through every game and practice, and that will help us overall in the long run. I maintain this mentality for both on and off the field, which has led me to succeed academically as well.
