My name is Joshua Barnhart; currently I attend WoodCreek High School as a Senior and am 17 years old. I am a caring, respectful and hard-working person with a positive attitude no matter what situation I am in, I also see myself as a hard worker who consistently strives to achieve my goals and dreams. I am an active member of the Key Club at school which is an organization that provides community service within Roseville, CA. I also enjoy being involved in community service within my own neighborhood such as feeding and welcoming the homeless at our community church or participating in various activities during the Christmas season to help and assist the less fortunate. My aspirations in life are to play lacrosse as a sport while obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Political Science. I started playing lacrosse four years ago in 8th grade for a U13 club. As a Freshman, I played on the Rams Junior Varsity team as a mid-fielder and back-up goalie. In mid-season, I became the starting goalie where I recognized my passion as a goalie. My Sophomore year, I excelled and was moved up to Varsity where I was the starting goalie. At the end of the season, I became the number one goalie in my league and was selected to 1st Team All-Conference, which is a high achievement as a Sophomore. As a Junior I became a captain for the varsity team, also I was honor with two high titles. I was selected to 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-League. I was recognized by MaxPreps as the number one goalie in all of California and was ranked as 42nd in the nation. After college, I intend to join the Coast Guards and become an Aviation Specialist/ Rescue Swimmer.
