I have played all kinds of sports, but lacrosse is my favorite. I really like the speed of the game and the friends I have made and kept along the way. Playing the game has tested me mentally and physically, but most importantly it has given me real opportunities to grow as a person. Over the last three years, I have focused on having fun playing the game and supporting my high school team by learning, training, and staying game ready during the off season. Recently, I have had to adapt to playing new positions to better the team. I have taken a few face offs, switched to midfield in man up situations, and played more of a defensive role. I am glad that the game continues to teach me to try new things and grow with each experience.
My parents, my teachers, my coaches, and my friends all continue to be a huge influence in my life. They have taught me how to make a positive difference in my school and in my community. I remain thankful to all of them for teaching me that my words and actions matter and how to work to the best of my ability, especially when challenged.
I am known for my dedication to the grind of practice, adaptability, teamwork and sportsmanship. Whatever position I am asked to play, I have consistently proven my ability on the field as a solid finisher that plays in a way that supports my teammates and my team. My skills include being able to read opposing defenses, finding passing lanes, distributing the ball to open teammates, and cutting into open spaces for scoring opportunities.
My goal for the 2024 school year is just to have fun with the game and enjoy every moment.
