Christian Gallaher '22 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college where I can learn and help others. To be on a lacrosse team that is 100% committed to each other so we can attain our goals. I feel with my work ethic I can help my peers/teammates in many ways from getting stronger, doing extra work like wall ball, breaking down film and anything else that is needed. The one thing I can guarantee is that I will give 100% effort to my team and Coaches all the time. 

I am a very hard worker and I pay attention to detail. I am currently #2 in the world at Crossfit in the 14/15 year old male division. When writing this statement I am 15 years old and some of my weightlifting lifts are clean & jerk 285lbs, Squat 345lbs, Deadlift 355lbs & Snatch 190lbs.   

My fondest memory while playing lacrosse so far is in the 8th grade I played on my varsity lacrosse team for the great Brian Kuczma and our team went to the Sectional finals (Section 1 class A  N.Y.S.) where we lost 6-4. That season we went 15-4 and I was the 3rd leading scorer on the team (22 goals & 6 assists), led the team in ground balls and I won 52% of my face offs.

I am attending Archbishop Stepinac for my High School career which is 51 miles away from my home. I get up early every morning and stay late at school to accommodate my parents and friends when car pooling. I take all Honors classes and as of this statement I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I understand what sacrifice means and will do so to attain my goals and the goals of my team. 

***I have transferred to Hotchkiss in the Founders League to get the best education possible and play lacrosse at the highest level and will be re classing to 2022 graduating year.
