I started playing rec and club lacrosse when I was 8 years old after my Uncle gave me my first lacrosse stick. I am now a three-sport athlete playing school lacrosse, soccer and basketball as well as club lacrosse for state and National teams. When I was younger, I also played baseball, tennis and wrestled.
On the field I work hard to make a difference during every play defensively and offensively. Turnovers, ground balls and assists all lead to goals. My aggressiveness and agility help contribute to winning games. I think my experience playing other sports like soccer, football and basketball has helped me to develop into a better lacrosse player. As a defender I take control of the defense and work together with my other defenders for seamless slides and a tight defense. I am a strong two-way midfielder and am confident dodging at full speed with my head up and shooting on the run. My overall lacrosse IQ and athleticism creates opportunities for my teammates and me to be successful.
On and off the field I try to lead by example. I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest worker. I will play whatever position I am asked to play and have done so successfully. In the classroom, I maintain I high GPA.
I would like to attend a college where I can continue to work hard to excel academically and athletically. I am open to all options but ultimately want to find a college where I can study and compete at the highest level possible. I hope to continue being a leader and make my parents, coaches and peers proud.
