My name is Michael Tovar, my dream is to play lacrosse as a student athlete because of my love for the sport. I am entering my Junior year at IMG Academy after attending Jesuit High School, a college preparatory high school, in California. My HS LAX team won the Delta League Championship this Spring and qualified for the CA North Coast Section playoffs. As a freshman I was awarded defensive player of the year and played varsity as a sophomore. Both my GPA and goalie save rate are highly competitive and make me a suitable candidate to be a student athlete.
I play club ball with ADVNC, NorCal, Chauncey Boys and I have been playing Lacrosse since I was 10 years old. This summer with my team Chauncey Boys we won the Grapevine Classic Boys HS Gold and with ADVNC we won Oregon Classic 2024.
My parents have instilled in me the importance of faith, community, family, education, leadership, teamwork, and making a positive difference in our world.

- ActivitiesVolunteer twice a month at River City Food Bank, sorting and organizing food intake serving 1.8 million meals per year. Youth Lacrosse Camp- Work as assistant with The Jesuit coaching staff with youth lacrosse program which emphasize individual and team fundamentals. Throwing, catching, ground balls, shooting, communication, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and overall lacrosse IQ.
