The ability to be coached, to take what you learn and apply it to anything you do in life is the moral behind the sport. The skill comes from the morals. I take everything I do and learn from lacrosse and apply it to my everyday life because it’s more than a sport. I play where it isn’t as popular and my team isn’t the strongest, however every person on that team has learned life lessons. While being a 4 year starter, 2 year captain, Most improved, MVP defense, MVP and named 1st team all district within 3 years of ever touching a stick. I pride my accomplishments on the foundation my 2 Division 1 coaches taught me, the ability to learn. My goal is to play lacrosse in college however it is also to prove that I can go further in my sport than anyone from my area has seen. That I can prove no matter where I go the lessons I learned from this sport will benefit me in life and as a person. I want the chance to prove I can learn and be the best player on any team solely through my different mindset and attraction to being different. On any team I will flourish I only ask you take the chance. Not sure how far you colleges read or if I’m on your radar, I would like to make it apparent that college is expensive and I have no money. I’m not looking for a big school necessarily, just someplace I can continue playing what I love. Thank you.
