Rocco Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rocco Smith and I am a lacrosse goalie at Jensen Beach High School. I will graduate in 2022.  My college goal is to graduate with a pre-law degree. Graduating with a pre-law degree will further set me up to be a lawyer. I currently hold a 3.6 GPA as a junior in high school. I strive to work hard on the field while working just as hard for high grades. As a freshman I achieved one of my goals by becoming a Varsity Letterman in both football and lacrosse. I will hold myself and everyone around me to a high standard knowing that what we do on the field and off the field will reflect the team, coaches and school. As I grow physically and mentally I strive to be an asset as a lacrosse goalie as well as a student. I will be dedicated to your program. By playing goalie I have learned many leadership skills that will help me in life, such as, taking control of a group, picking up individuals after a mistake,etc . In middle school I belonged to the National Junior Honor Society which helped by giving me opportunities as a leader such as leading volunteer events and by volunteering my time to specific community events. By volunteering my time to the youth lacrosse programs, I have developed many leadership skills.
