For 12 years I had a successful competitive soccer life, but three years ago someone handed me a lacrosse stick and my life changed. I never turned back.
From that day on, I have placed my full sports attention into playing lacrosse with multiple teams; club and high school, personal training, and solo practice/drills.
Yes, I knew that I would have to work extra hard to catch up with my peers, but my hard work has paid off and I am now a full-time starter on my club and high school team. I continue to push myself and am always seeking out new techniques and strategies.
One thing that sets me apart from other attackers is my ability to strategize at a higher level and foresee the best options on the field. This skill allows me to make better decisions when moving the ball around until the defense breaks and someone is left with an open shot; whether I go for the goal or pass for a better chance of success. Either way, if the ball goes into the net, I have done my job.
Being agile and quick on my feet, I can easily outsprint any defender which gives my team the advantage by maintaining possession of the ball.
Coaches and players consider me to be respectful, hardworking, always a team player and communicative on and off the field.
Off the field, I pride myself on excelling in high-level academics. I play lacrosse for my districted high school but am a collegiate student currently at Polk State Lakeland Collegiate Highschool (college Freshman level). Playing lacrosse and taking a full college class workload at this early stage, has taught me how to prepare for and balance college classes and sports.
Lastly, whether it is family, school, sports, or hobbies, I always strive to continually raise my potential and be the absolute best I can.
