My name is Wyatt Quaife. I am a 6’4", 2023 graduate defender from Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, FL.
Some of my best attributes are hardworking, a natural born leader, and a team player. I am dedicated to lacrosse and the traditions and history of the sport. My most important accomplishment thus far are being nominated for team captain on my first 4 years of the sport and making the varsity lacrosse team for my high school. Knowing that I am capable of playing Lacrosse in college, drives my passion for this sport. Furthermore, being the first in my family to play at the NCAA level is exhilarating.
As a college athlete, I promise to always work hard and never give up. I will push my teammates to work harder and expect the same in return. I lead by example. I am the first to go
to the field and the last to leave. I truly believe that the team is only as good as the weakest link.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to attend, my options are open. My ideal school location would be around a larger city, but more importantly a college that will maximize my athletic ability and develop my education in Business. Currently, I would like to major in business, however; my major may change over the course of my high school career.
Lastly, I coach youth lacrosse and volunteer to teach younger kids the game. I take pride in maintaining a 3.9 weighted GPA and achieving honor roll throughout my high school career thus far. I know being an athlete extends to more than field time. I try to carry myself daily knowing this and I try to lead by example. Thanks for your time, coaches and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
