I began playing lacrosse in my freshman year of high school and immediately began playing the sport non-stop. I began to play as much as I could including travel where I was able to quickly learn from older, experienced goalies. Coming from a smaller Lacrosse program I took up leadership roles as team captain early in my Junior year and coordinated practices for my team as our coach was often unable to run practices. I have also been in charge of recruiting and for a large part managing those on my team. Through my leadership positions, I have found that often times close connections with team members are the most valuable factor to having the strongest program possible. In my personal life I also put a strong emphasis on education, leading me to be one of the top of my class and taking almost only advanced placement courses.
