I began playing lacrosse in 7th grade. I was playing on my middle schools basketball team and a few of the 8th graders on the team were also lacrosse players. They needed a goalie for the upcoming lacrosse season. I had been a football, basketball, and baseball player. One teammate gave me his goalie stick and equipment because he no longer wanted to be a goalie. I had a great middle school season and loved playing goalie and the game of lacrosse. I played on a club team that summer and the next year as a 8th grader, I was the starting goalie on the JV team. I am now a Freshman in high school and on my schools varsity team.
I like being a team leader and enjoy the camaraderie of my teammates. I enjoy meeting new teammates during the club season and meeting other players at summer tournaments.
I enjoy being a goalie and being the last line of defense for my team.
I am in a Civil Engineering Academy at my high school and think I would like to pursue a engineering or science based major in college.
