Mac Anderson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mac Anderson and I am from Miramar Beach, Florida. I'm right handed attack that likes to run an offense behind X  as well as run a fast break. I started playing lacrosse in the 3rd grade and have loved to play the game and compete since. I've always wanted to play lacrosse at a higher level but I never thought it was realistic; however, after a great junior season where I was nominated team captain and scored a school record 54 goals, I feel like I can definitely compete at the college level. I'm committed to improving over the summer, and a key focus of that is hitting the gym and working on my offhand.

After our varsity team’s successful season (district champions for the first time in program history), I am more motivated than ever to improve my skills heading into senior year.  Currently, I am planning to play in four tournaments with two separate club teams and registered to participate in three showcase style events while maintaining consistent off-season conditioning during the summer.

Along with my grades and test scores, lacrosse has become a focal point in my college search.
