My ultimate goal is to play competitive collegiate lacrosse while pursuing my degree in Environmental Science.
Playing multiple sports including football and baseball through junior high school helped develop the skills I use for lacrosse today as well as being a team player. I have learned that if you practice or work hard daily with or away from the team and give maximum effort with a good attitude, you will always have opportunities both on and off the field. I lead by example and being called a "try hard" is a compliment to me which has happened each of the last two years of school tryouts. In fact, I earned the "Hardest Worker Award" after my freshman season at Carmel. I'm not the biggest player so I make up for that with my commitment, work ethic, speed and athleticism.
I am a dominant lefty who is equally good at my right hand leaving my top wall ball score at 74 left and 67 right in one minute. I've taken pride in winning skills competitions during my high school tryouts my freshman and sophomore seasons. In addition to stick skills, I am very good at moving the ball around , dodging from the wing or X and setting up a play off the dodge making it easy to hit open cuts on crease or cuts from up top. Being very quick & agile helps me when I attack the cage, dodge, clear to space, get GB's , back up shots and play defense.
As an honor roll student taking AP science, I currently have a 3.56 GPA. I will be taking the SAT later this year and have registered with the NCAA.
To make extra money, I started my first job working at age 15 at Play It Again Sports in Carmel, IN., after school and on weekends when I do not have lacrosse and just had my first anniversary. I am very responsible, respectful and reliable and manage my time wisely. Being able to maintain school, lacrosse and work is challenging but has helped me learn so much more about myself.
I enjoy being outside every chance I get including fishing with my friends. I have started a local fishing club and through it I have helped teach many kids how to properly fish and protect the local waters & inhabitants.
