Personal Statement
I am an English Left Handed Attacker with a strong mentality and a fighting spirit. My strengths are dodging, vision, the ability to pull off the passes only I can see, and my goal-scoring ability. I have played lacrosse for as long as I can remember as it is in my blood with my dad captaining England at 4 world series, captaining the likes of Paul Carcaterra and being the most decorated player in England history. I have been playing Senior (Men's (16+)) lacrosse since September 2021 and have just undertaken a coaching job for a U16 team. I would love to play and win anything at college in America and I am willing to put the work in for it. Academically I am at a school in the top 5% in England getting only A's and above. I would like to study Something like Business With Italian, as I fell in love with Italian culture when I started studying the language. I have carried out research projects on Leadership In Business Management and also, Media, The mafia and sports in Italy. I have also spent some time doing work experience at ITS Technology Group where I spent some time shadowing and getting involved in the financial team looking at the approval of numbers and allocation of funds. I then spent some time with Marketing and worked on pushing a brand out in targeted areas as well as redesigning the company website. I also spent a day on-site looking at the groundwork that the company do in putting fibre networks in the ground to re-sell. I then went to some meetings with current and potential partners with the channel sales team and the C.E.O. and finally, I spent a day with the enterprise sales team meeting the most important partners at Silverstone. Another passion of mine is Music, obtaining a Music GCSE and channelling some energy into DJ'ing at home whilst also having a Grade 5 singing level as well as previously playing drums and guitar.
