Personal Statement
I am passionate about lacrosse and dedicated to excelling both on and off the field.
One of my primary collegiate goals is to become a Physical Therapist specializing in recovery for Sports Injuries. I believe that my experience in lacrosse, coupled with my passion for the game and interest in sports medicine, will provide me with a unique perspective and skill set to pursue this career path successfully.
As a player, I bring several qualities that I believe make me a strong candidate for your team. Firstly, I am a team player through and through. I understand the importance of collaboration and communication on the field, and I always strive to support and uplift my teammates. Whether it's during practice or in the heat of a game, I am committed to working together towards our shared goals.
Furthermore, I possess a strong willingness to learn and improve. I am always seeking feedback from coaches and teammates to enhance my skills and knowledge of the game. I am open-minded and adaptable, willing to take on new challenges and roles to contribute to the team's success.
One aspect that sets me apart from other recruits is my versatility on the field. I have experience playing multiple positions, including Face Off, midfield, and goalie. This versatility not only demonstrates my adaptability but also adds depth to the team lineup, allowing for strategic flexibility during games. Even when I couldn't play due to injury, I coached the middle school team and was the referee for elementary, middle school and high school games.
In addition to my athletic abilities, I place a high emphasis on academics. I currently maintain a 3.5 GPA and am starting college classes as dual enrollment. I understand the importance of balancing sports with studies and am committed to maintaining academic excellence throughout my collegiate career.
Overall, I believe my passion for lacrosse, dedication to teamwork, versatility on the field, and academic ambitions make me a valuable asset to your team. I am eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your program and contribute to its continued success.
