One of my characteristics that is that I work when no one is looking on and off the field. From basic chores to playing on the field. As a Freshman of my high school team (2019) I was the team captain for the junior varsity team and also played in several games for the varsity team including the consolation championship game of 2019 for the LAKC conference. I was slotted to play varsity as a LSM for the 2020 season due to COVID-19 the season was cancelled. My high school coaches have always looked to me to get the teams ready for practice and games.
The fall of 2019 I was playing in a fall league with my high school team in the first game I went for a check to forward the ball to the attack I raised my arm to knock the ball out of the middies cradle. when I went to do this I fell to the ground and partially tore my labrum in my right shoulder. During my time out of lacrosse healing, I was helping my coaches on the sideline. From activities to getting water for my players to giving advice to players on the field. During practices I would assist the coaches with setting up the drills and getting the balls. During this period of time I gained more knowledge about the sport lacrosse from the coaches view point, late October I had the surgery on my labrum. March of 2020 I was cleared by my Surgeon to play again.
I believe I am a coachable player and im always striving to be the best I can.
