My name is Atticus Cooper. I have been involved in athletics my entire life, starting out with baseball at the age of 6 with Babe Ruth Little League Baseball. I continued to play for seven years on both regular season and summer All-Star season and it was through this experience I learned the importance of teamwork, self-discipline and respect for the game. My sporting experience ranges from baseball, soccer, football, basketball to cross country and golf. Most recently my high school began their lacrosse team though I was one of the less experienced players my junior season I started at midfield and led the team in goals that year. I was named Captain of the team in lacrosse as well as golf my senior season. In both teams I improved rapidly and I improved my scores in golf from my senior season by 20 strokes comparatively speaking to my junior season. In addition to the responsibilities of school and athletics, I have held a steady job at Shenanigans Irish Pub for 3 and half years now. I am one of the most experienced workers within the Pub but I am also the youngest. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of accountability and open mindedness. I feel that I could both contribute to and learn from playing college lacrosse. I would come with an energy and readiness to play.
