I started playing lacrosse in the 3rd grade in a local recreational league and immediately fell in love with the game. I couldn't learn enough about the sport and started playing club lacrosse the following summer. I was fortunate enough to play for a team that stayed together for 4 years and won 3 Midwest Premier Lacrosse League Championships. That experience helped me grow as an individual and has helped me maintain a focus and confidence in my commitments to family, academics and athletics. I learned the value of hard work, good sportsmanship, sacrifice and leadership and have applied these traits to everything I do in my everyday life. I also learned that when I set my mind to it, there is no challenge that I cannot overcome.
As a sophomore, I enrolled in Advance Placement classes and joined Young Life to further challenge myself and broaden my student-athlete experience. I will be traveling to Tennessee this summer on a mission trip to help repair homes damaged by tornadoes for families in need. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I believe my talent, work ethic and strong character will add significant value and make an immediate impact on your program.
