My name is Brady Rappuhn and I am a 6’0” 140 lb. attack who plays from the X position. I am a multi-sport athlete concentrating on lacrosse and hockey. My Freshman & Sophomore years I was a starting attack for Heritage High School and was a key member on the man up. Strong work ethic and stick skills around the net are my strengths while always continuously striving to improve these skills along with my speed, strength, and shot power. In addition, I played varsity hockey my Freshman and Sophomore years.
Most of my life I have played hockey and only in the past few years have started to play lacrosse however I believe my experience on the ice has helped translate into success on the field. I have played summer lacrosse for 3 years, where I played for the Saginaw Blues Jays and Midland 989. I believe that all of this experience has led me to be the player that competes at the highest level while improving my performance. I have learned that you need to continue to push yourself to be better and the way you can do this is to practice hard and play higher competition. Being a multi-sport athlete and playing higher levels of competition has helped shape me into the athlete I am today and strive to be in the future.
I believe my positive attitude toward athletics has also translated into my school work. My Freshman and Sophomore years I took honors and IB/AP courses and in my Junior year I have continued to push myself by taking AP level classes to ensure I will be ready for college. Finding a college that will offer both a challenging academic program where I can pursue studies in the medical field along with a lacrosse program where I will be a great fit for my level of play is my ultimate goal.
I have always enjoyed and put a lot of effort into the training aspect of lacrosse and all sports. In addition, I understand what it means to be a supportive teammate both on and off the field. Gaining the respect and approval of my coach and teammates has kept me a driven athlete.
Some of the qualities that I have include:
