I have been playing sports at the club level all my life. I started with select soccer for about 4 years, then played football for 3 years, and have now moved into lacrosse for the last 4 years. I started playing lacrosse my 8th grade year in the youth program where I played short stick midi. My freshman year I played short stick midi on JV and freshman. My sophomore year, I switched to LSM and Defense on Varsity. I have also played club lacrosse for Samurai and now LB3 for the past 2 years. I will be a senior and will be starting my 5th year playing lacrosse.
I was born in Texas and moved to Missouri at the start of 6th grade. I am the 3rd of 4 children and my parents are both accountants by schooling.
At the beginning of 3rd grade I found out that my struggles in school came from being dyslexic. My parents pulled me from the public school I was attending in Plano and enrolled me in a private school that used the Take Flight Remediation Program developed at Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. I returned to public school in Plano for 5th grade and have remained in public school. I receive no services for my learning difference so I have to work harder than others in school. This same work ethic carries over into sports as well as any activity I am involved in.
