Dane Sabarese '21 Recruiting Profile

    I started varsity for Delran High School as a Sophomore and played a big part in our playoff run ending with an 11-6 record, 140 saves, and a 58% save percentage at the end of the regular season. Throughout this year I was selected to 2nd team BCSL All-Conference, was voted team Defensive MVP by my coaches,  and was the only goalie named BCSL Player of the Week by winning that very award the Week of May 7th. I learned the most from Player of the Week because yes, my name was in ink for the award but it was a team accolade. Without the offense scoring, the defense attacking ground balls, and the fogo's winning face offs none of our success would've even been possible. I do not only play lacrosse, in the fall I am a part of a unified soccer team between students who are able to play sports and students who physically aren't. I do this program through Peer Leading and am not afraid to stick my neck out for anyone who needs my help. I was recently placed on the 2021 Players to Watch List and can’t wait to start my grind this year. I would not lack commitment to my teammates, my will to win, and my passion for the sport if I was selected to play for you.
