Matthew Mosey '24 Recruiting Profile

Close D is my favorite position, yet I have the speed to play LSM.   I am not flashy headliner, but described as a gritty, old school and a workhorse on the field.  I know when to slide, love to crease clear, but focus more on disrupting shots.  I like playing with teammates that play for each other.  When everyone is flying around covering, it's like orchestrated chaos!   Personally, I am a good student and excel in classes like makerspace, woodworking, metal fabrication and planning to study engineering in college.  I love working out, everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, spartan challenges and other mud races.  My other true passion is playing guitar and being in a band. I listen to all types of music, but metal is my favorite as it has the same feeling as a well-run defense.
