I am a rising senior in High School and have played lacrosse for 10 years. I also am a Varsity Cross Country runner as well as a Varsity Swimmer and Varsity Lacrosse player. I have a very high IQ when it comes to Lacrosse. I study it in any way I can such as youtube videos or by watching college lacrosse players. I am a tenacious player that doesn't give up. I am not afraid to do the "dirty work" on the field, often taken "man" in a man ball situation. I am a team player and want the best for my team, I put the team before myself. I also play in a summer league for the past 4 years, and currently playing for Upper Level Elite out of Chatham, NJ.
I have a cousin with Down syndrome and another cousin that has Asperger's and that has introduced me to the world of volunteering at special needs events such as TryCan and Special Olympics. TryCan is an organization in my county that provides mentors to children with disabilities to allow them to play team sports. I participated in a mentor program to be qualified to participate with TryCan.
I also am a Certified Lifeguard and will begin working this summer. I also am a Certified Soccer referee.
I am currently taking several honors classes and AP classes. I will be taking AP European History my senior year. I am interested in careers in Education.
