I am a 2020 reclassed close defender. I play lacrosse for Tenafly High School in New Jersey, which is educationally ranked 20th in NJ and 437th in the nation. I expect to carry a GPA close to 4.0 this year (Junior) and have a 32 ACT composite score. I am a disciplined, competitive athlete (football, jiu-jitsu, rugby), but 2017 was my first year playing lacrosse. Although I am so new to the game, I am making huge improvements and getting better every day. I compete year-round with the Brotherhood Lacrosse Elite team which won the IMG Championship this fall. I was also invited to train with my brother Jonah’s AA team called “The Swarm”. The Swarm is Coach Tom Prior’s club team, who is the Men's Irish World Team Head Coach, Don Bosco Prep Varsity Assistant Coach and Coach of Under Armour NJ. Also coaching this team is Coach Jeff Christiano (St Thomas Aquinas Asst Coach). The Tenafly Varsity season went well, with a record of 11-5. Since I've taken a leadership role and am the top close defender on the team, my Coach has announced I will be captain next year. As a result of my hard work and excellent coaching, I am learning and improving my game rapidly. I am excited to see where the next step of my lacrosse career will be.
