Patrick Nagy '18 Recruiting Profile

I use to always be overlooked by coaches and teammates because I was so small compared to everyone else. I didn't start my growth spurt until my sophomore year. This disadvantage caused me to work 110% harder in ice hockey, cross country and lacrosse. I trained harder and practiced more than my teammates to become better. After team practices I would come home and go straight out back and redo the drills and make sure I was able to shoot with both hands equally. I always wanted to be in the top ten on my teams. 

I am not into playing a "one man show" game. I like to be a team player and work closely with my teammates. Looking for the best plays to get the job done may not always be me doing the scoring. I am very much a team player and a leader. Being captain would always be an honor but not required. I enjoy being a leader and helping other teammates on and off the field. Coaches say that I am coach able and willing to take the instructions and work on my weaknesses until I perfected them. 

My goals are to go to a college that gives me the best education and to be able to play for a wonderful team that teaches me to become a better player and man. I love to learn and experience the world outside of the classroom and off the fields.  I am a very hard worker and willing to except new challenges.
