2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I am James Franz, and I am entering my senior year at Mineola High School. My course load contains a variety of subjects, including college level Advanced Manufacturing courses (in conjunction with SUNY Farmingdale) and college level Calculus (in conjunction with Adelphi University). I have also studied classical languages. My GPA is currently a 3.2. I am also in PE leadership gym class. I am a three-season athlete with lacrosse being my number one sport; but I also play varsity football and basketball. My collegiate goal is to obtain a BSN in Nursing while playing competitive lacrosse. I am a faceoff specialist, but I have played midfield and defense as well. I am a committed athlete and am very coachable, I get along with my teammates very well and I adapt well to new systems and skill sets. In addition to playing lacrosse, football and basketball, I was a boy scout and achieved the rank of Star Scout.
