Owen Marcolini '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Owen Marcolini. I first started playing lacrosse when I was in kindergarten but started to fall in love with it in the 5th grade. I have spent most of my time playing at attack, but I also play midfield. I am a good person for your team because I am an unselfish player, both on and off the field. I am known for having a great ability to see the field well and find the open player. I will always choose the best play for the team to help us win.  Also, I put full effort into every game and will work just as hard at defense as offense. Off the field, I am a caring, kind and active person. 

Academically, what separates me from other people is my effort. School doesn't come easy to me but I work extremely hard for the grades that I get. What separates me in athletics, is my commitment to the team and our goals. Winning is important to me. Sports are very important to my overall growth academically and lacrosse will be a key factor to my success in college and beyond. Sports has helped make me who I am, but particularly lacrosse is my favorite sport because of the speed its played at and the amount of action in each play.
