9th grade for me, was pretty rough. I made the varsity team as a freshman, yet I wasn't used to sitting on the sidelines. I started out with very little playing time at first, but worked hard everyday. Eventually getting some playing time in every game. All in all our team was amazing that year, we made it to the Section Finals. We were playing a very good team that we played and narrowly beaten earlier in the season. They came out so much stronger than us and we had a devastating loss against them (14-4). First time I seen some of my veteran teammates cry. That didn't stop me, I worked my hardest to become the best I can be after that.
The next year I had a huge goal of beating that team and taking back the Section Championship. I was more ready than I ever was to play, I finally had a starting spot as a sophomore and we had another fantastic team that year. Yet again we made it to the Section Finals, I was more than ready to do this, to achieve my goal, and couldn't be happier with my coaches and teammates to help us get there. We ended up winning last year (2017) Section Title and this year I’m hoping for yet another section title under our schools belt.
