My name is Blake Fennell and I’m 6’1, 145 lbs midfielder. I have one older brother and one younger brother. I am an honor roll student. I’m a dual athlete playing both Lacrosse and Ice Hockey for my High School and Club travel teams. I recently was awarded the all County Division 2 Honorable mention award for high school lacrosse.
This summer I’ve been volunteering to help my high school coach teach elementary middle school kids the game of lacrosse and this will be on a regular basis aside from working my part-time job. in the past I have participated in the Jr. Fire Academy from my hometown and went onto joining the Fire Explore’s. I’ve had the honor to be chosen by my peers to be team captain for the hockey club I participated on. The discipline and time management that is currently required of me between academics, sports and personal, I feel will help me with my future endeavors in college and life. I will be the first member in my family to attend college. I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker both on and off the field. I train for lacrosse all year round with training camps, practices, tournaments and getting together with others on the field for extra time. I do regular work out routines to keep in shape.
My lacrosse experience has taught me to enjoy intense preparation and working with the team towards a common goal, even when there is a little personal reward or recognition to be found. I have found that when you apply yourself you can go further and the better opportunities may come your way.
