I got a late start playing lacrosse as I wasn’t introduced to the sport until the start of my Sophomore year. I have always liked athletics and played various sports growing up but concentrated on football during my Freshman and Sophomore years.
After playing lacrosse and quickly falling in love with the sport, I have become serious about looking for ways to continue to play lacrosse in college. Early in my first year, I was asked to learn to Face Off and ultimately ended up being the primary Face Off person for the JV squad in my Sophomore year, even being asked to help others learn the proper technique and get better. At the end of the JV season I was moved up to Varsity for the playoffs. I have attended two Face Off Camps.
I am 100% dedicated to lacrosse. I have played on Twins Club Team, signing up after my first season ended. I want to learn and improve my skills as I continue to appreciate and love the game. My goal is to be one of the hardest working players on any team I’m placed on and help the team excel and grow together. I will promise to be one of the hardest working recruits you will come across.
Although I’ve always been a good student, I have looked to challenge myself more and become a top performer in the classroom as well. This is the first year I’ve challenged myself by taking an AP course although I’ve taken several honors courses in the past. In addition to my commitment to playing athletics, I’ve also been able to become an active member of the Service Club at my High School.
My dream would be to find a school that I could attend where I can continue to push myself academically and play lacrosse with the goal of improving every day and being a terrific teammate. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
