If you were to ask my coaches to evaluate my skills as a defenseman over the past 8 years playing lacrosse, they would highlight three key aspects:
First, I excel at neutralizing our opponents' top scorers, effectively sidelining them for entire games.
Second, I have a knack for directing and leading our defense on the field during play.
Third, my stick skills and overall lacrosse IQ are at the highest level.
I originally hail from the North Shore of Oahu but relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, when I was 9 years old. Lacrosse quickly became my passion shortly after my move from Hawaii to the mainland. Aside from my spring seasons, I have committed to playing travel lacrosse, box lacrosse, and attending clinics and camps to hone my skills and develop my lacrosse IQ and the nuances of playing defense.
Both on and off the field, I am an extremely diligent and dedicated individual. Academically, I maintain an honors student status with a wGPA of 4.2 and a rigorous class schedule. Achieving this level of academic success demands effective time management, especially since I participate in two high school varsity sports; football and lacrosse. As an athlete, I fully comprehend the importance of the off-season in preparing for the spring lacrosse season and lead captain practices for my teammates and I am committed to intensive agility/speed training during the winter and summer months to continually refine my skills and maintain peak performance.
