Jared Cook '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jared Cook, from St. Catharines Ontario and I am a Grade 11 student at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. I have an outstanding work ethic and am willing to do whatever it takes to play at the next level. I have a passion and love for lacrosse and have made it my goal to play at the next level to continue my career being either DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, or JUCO. I have always been apart of the St. Catharine's Minor Lacrosse Association, As I am currently playing U22 (Intermediate) as a 16 year old. In this short season of seven games so far I have 14 goals and 12 assists. With 26 points in seven games I am currently leading the league in points, goals, and assists. Where as for my high school varsity team, Sir Winston Churchill, I finished the season with 18 goals and seven assists in 9 games played. In school I have been able to maintain over a 90 percent average every year of high school so far. This year I finished grade 11 with a 93.5 academic average (3.5 - 4.0 GPA). In school or on the field, I am a leader that enjoys the process of working towards a goal with a group of people. I was named capitan of my varsity high school lacrosse team and lead the team, with help from all supporting players, to Southern Ontario Regional semi finals where we fell short to the soon to be OFSAA champions. If a coach took the chance and gave me an opportunity to play for their program, I would be a positive attitude for the team, push myself to new levels, and be a coachable player that respects my teammates and all coaches.
