Ever since I was three years old I was around the game of lacrosse. It was introduced to me by my grandfather and ever since it was like I was born with a stick in my hand. I had natural talent and lacrosse IQ that had me playing a year up for my first three years with Barrie Minor Lacrosse. After my grade seven year i recognized my game had serious potential, and after watching my cousin commit D1 to Louisville lacrosse, I became determined to take my game to the next level. I joined Evolve Elite Ontario that summer, where Hofstra Alum Briar Davids coached me and my team to a 15-6 season, where we lost in the finals in two tournaments, and the semis in our final one. My journey with evolve continued to evolve! I kept going south of the boarder and playing top American opponents on a regular basis and seeing various university lacrosse games. This journey it was has sparked my grind and eagerness to compete at the next level.
What makes my game different, is the heart and passion I put into it. I am a hard-nosed box style defender with plays on ball and off ball defense with grit. I am a vocal, athletic, smart, physical, and quick defender. I use punishing stick checks and dominating body checks to outwork my match up and win it game in and game out. When I get the ball I like to use my size to hold off defenders and push the pace of the play up the field and find a open middie or attack-men in transition. If the options there I am also not afraid to shoot the ball, in my modified 2021 covid campaign I had one goal and 10 shots on net as a close D, and 7 assists throughout my LSM reps.
Off the field, I am not 'normal kid'. I am a multi-sport athlete and a honor role student. I have worked for my Dads construction company since I was nine years old learning many skills that I will carry with my for the rest of my life. By the age of 13 I was running job sites and operating various machinery, always looking to advance to the next level throughout the company. The following winter I launched my own hockey apparel company, growing significantly and ultimately attracting attention from local sports stores throughout the region. These life experiences have helped me grow and shaped into a mature and responsible kid, where I learned the importance of, being kind, humble, determined, and honest. I have carried these important attributes into my recruiting process, where I have completely taken it upon myself to find a right affordable fit for both my academic and athletic career. I have committed to reaching my goal of playing college lacrosse, and I am willing to do anything it takes to make it happen.
