I believe hard work, perseverance, discipline and commitment pays off. There are no shortcuts in life and life gives you what you put into it!
Having had the great privilege of evolving as a player, my training and development over the years have provided me and continue to provide me with better knowledge and understanding of the game, the team concept and myself on and off the field. The philosophies, guidance and direction of my family, coaches and fellow team mates have been of great influence in my life and I believe I am a better athlete, team player and person as a whole today as a result.
Academically, I am focused, consistently obtaining good grades. Overall, my education is most important to me and my future. I am a high achiever and I thrive most in an environment where academically I am challenged, intellectually stimulated and pushed to be the best I can be. I set high standards for myself both academically and athletically and I surround myself with like minded people and mentors who teach and elevate me to be my better self every day. Some of my mentors are right here in my school and lacrosse club and I aspire to their mastery.
As a freshman attending Western University of Ontario and having the privilege to be a Western Mustang , I strive to lead by example, both in the classroom and on the field. I demonstrate courtesy and respect for my teachers, professors and coaches, always maintaining excellent rapport. My good natured and outgoing personality allows me to nurture friendships, many which by now are lifelong.
I aspire and challenge myself to be a proactive leader in society. I pride myself in giving back to the community in many ways, including giving back to the Kerr Street Ministries and volunteering my time within the Lacrosse clubs to help develop and inspire young children in learning the sport and passing on my passion for the game.
I am currently engaged academically in a highly selective post-secondary program that offers me an opportunity for success in my chosen paths while playing Lacrosse. I foresee my post-secondary academia to be my vessel in achieving further strengths in academics, leadership and ultimately my future career ambitions. My goal is to explore a psychology major with a math and a business minor which will position me well for my post graduate studies.
On the field, throughout my academic and athletic career I will continue to maintain my dynamic and humble presence, be a positive influence on my team mates and strive to be an asset to the team and my coaches. In recognizing that my code of conduct reflects my family, my school, my coaches and my team, I will conduct myself with utmost respect and honor, both on and off the field and school campus.
Thank you for taking the time to look me up.
