Gabe Fluehr '24 Recruiting Profile

I am in the midst of my sophomore season after having a very successful summer season and freshman HighSchool season. I stand out from most players on and off the field. On the field, I can secure almost any ground ball and can move the ball upfield, either towards the goal or in search of an assist. In transition, I have the IQ to know when to slow it down or advance the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, I am very patient with my checks and use my body to get in front of the player, and can take away the ball when needed. I never overplay the man. Always take off their strong hand making them work for their weak hand. I am a very smart defenseman.

Off the field of lacrosse, I play water polo in the fall and am an excellent student. I am part of my school's student council. I had to be selected by the council. I am also a part of our school's youth and government at my school. When I'm not playing lacrosse I am a part-time sports videographer. I make sports edits and videos for all sports in my school.
