2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I have always been an athlete and I am incredibly fortunate that my parents have given me the opportunity to play so many different sports.
From the first shot I stopped, I knew I was a goaltender. Being a goalie allows me to step up and be a team player on and off the field and I love having the bulk of the responsibility being put on me both as a player and a leader.
We finished our season with an overall record of 11-6 making it to the second round of the WPIAL Playoffs. I am proud to report I reached a personal milestone this season making my 250th career varsity save as a sophomore as well as recording my first career varsity shutout. I finished this season with a GAA of 7.93 and a save percentage of .655% stopping 226 of 345 shots I faced. Additionally, I was honored to receive Player of the Game 3 times and Co-Player of the Game once along with an All Section Honorable Mention and Sophomore Player of the Year for my team.
Academically I maintain a 4.1 GPA with consistent high honors. At school, I am involved with FBLA and the IHS Pep Club and am a first-year member of Key Club. My favorite subject is Chemistry.
I am open to all levels of College Lacrosse, but most importantly I want to find a school that is a good fit all around and will support me through my studies. Right now I am open to change regarding my major.
