Simply Put: My name's Dean Costalas, and I would be a great fit to any school.
Currently, I am taking 2 AP Courses (AP Composition and AP US Government) and the rest of my courses are honors. I have a 4.0 Unweighted, 4.3 Weighted GPA, scored a 1440 on my SAT, a 33 on my ACT, have earned Distinguished Honors my entire high school career, and scored a 5 on AP Human Geography Exam last year.
I was elected, Class Treasurer, as well as being a Volunteer Youth Coach, performed Community Service at my Library, and participate in Model UN, Spanish club, but primarily the School Paper, as well as writing for an online news organization called "The Drop News".
Athletically, I have Varsity Letters in Football, Cheer leading and Lacrosse, I'm the School Mascot, I earned 2nd team All League during my first season playing LSM (Sophomore year), and was also the 9th Grade Field Hockey Manager.
If you weren't sold on my recurring community engagement, outstanding athletic performance or my impressive academic record, then take a look at the one thing that isn't traditionally shown in these Recruitment Profiles: Character. I'm an outgoing kid who strives to be the best I can be in all aspects of my life, whether that be in the classroom, on the field, or in my community. I don't plan on going to a school just to be a lacrosse player or to strictly focus on academics. I want to be an all around student, being able to take in and enjoy everything that the school has to offer. Being a Student Athlete is my goal, one I feel that I'd excel at, but it isn't my endgame. I plan on striving to be the most successful I can be in any environment I'm in, and I'd love to have the opportunity to succeed at your school.
