My name is Cashton Seaborg. I am from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Canada, and I am currently in my 11th year of high school this year. (2022/2023)) I am the oldest of my siblings in my family, with a younger brother of 6 years younger, who looks up to me as a role model, and my parents who are my biggest supporters.
I am very focused on my academics. I am a self-directed learner and an excellent student. My GPA is currently at 2.5. I am motivated to maintain a higher GPA in order to achieve my goal of attending a competitive college.
Hobbies I enjoy outside of lacrosse and school, are dirt biking, fishing, hockey, football, working out, camping and being with friends and family.
I love the sport of Lacrosse. I have been playing lacrosse for 9 years. When I was 7 years of age, the coach at my local club asked my father to bring me to the event being held to “Come & Try”, as he thought I would be a good fit for lacrosse. At the end of the day, I was hooked and haven’t looked back!
To date lacrosse has given me the opportunity to travel across Canada, making new friendships with team mates and opponents, lasting a lifetime. In addition to playing on my club teams I have also played on our provincial team for field and box; Team Saskatchewan, South Sask Selects Elite Box team as well as the Bantam Jr NLL Rush team.
I am a dedicated hard-working player who strives to be a positive team member, team leader and to perform to the best of my ability while always aspiring to improve myself and my game. I am 5’ 7.5” and 150lbs. I am not the biggest player but I am solid on my feet, strong and fast. I always love the challenge of being up against a bigger opponent and disrupting their play. I love the speed, physicality and aggressiveness of the sport. I play with speed and heart and thrive under unsettled situations, always getting into the dirty areas to make a play. I am dedicated to my myself and my team, a determined player who works hard every practice and every game. I take direction well, always eager to learn, striving to be the best version of myself on and off the field.
