Benjamin Marler '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’4  235 lb close defender from Bluffton, South Carolina. As a rising senior, I have been a 3 year starter on my High School lacrosse team and a two year captain. While in high school, I have also became a starter and captain in our impressive football program.  This summer I was nominated by US Club Lacrosse as  2021 Under the Radar defensemen prospect.This spring I was able to get the  6th most ground balls among  defensive players in South Carolina. Last summer I was the defensive MVP for  True  South Carolina. I have a 4.915 weighted GPA and a 22 ACT score. My major is undecided, but I am looking for a school with a strong environmental science program. I hope to find a program that balances athletics and academics.  I am looking for a program that will push me to be a better lacrosse player. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or DIII level, however I will absolutely consider DI opportunities .
