Lacrosse is more than just a game to me, it's a passion. From the moment I picked up a stick in 2021, I had found my calling. I not only pay and do additional trainings in the off-season, I find it fun to string sticks and do so for many of the players on my team and other local teams. From being team captain on my high school team for the last two years, I have learned the importance of leadership and hard work. I enjoy pushing my teammates to train harder and to play smarter. The first year I played, I started mid-season and by the end of the season my coaches talked about all the improvements I made because I was constantly "at the wall" and working on my stick skills; I stepped onto the field the following season as a starter on the Varsity defense as a sophomore. Last year I was awarded and voted for unanimously as "First Team All-Region for Defense" and we were the Champions of the Southern Utah Lacrosse League. Balancing lacrosse and academics is no easy feat, but I have continually maintained a solid 4.0 dedicating countless hours in the classroom and also on the field and in the gym improving myself as a lacrosse player. Off the field, my faith is a cornerstone of my life. I've made the decision to dedicate the two years following my high school graduation to serve a mission for my church. This commitment will teach me lessons in service and perseverance which I believe will enhance my character and leadership skills for my return to the game in 2027. I am excited about the opportunity to play at the next level to be able to challenge myself further and to be able to grow and contribute to a team.
