When I first picked up a lacrosse stick six years ago, I was instantly hooked. Lacrosse has become a huge part of my life and has helped me grow in so many ways. On the field, I always push myself by playing against stronger players to improve my skills. My coaches have noticed my hard work and see me as a leader. I'm dedicated to making sure our team learns from every game, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
One of my strengths is my great groundball skills, which help our team regain possession and maintain control. I'm also excellent at causing turnovers, disrupting the opponent's offense, and creating opportunities for my team. My high defensive and overall lacrosse IQ allows me to anticipate plays and make smart decisions on the field.
This drive to be my best isn't just limited to lacrosse. In school, I have a weighted GPA of 4.579 and have taken several Dual Enrollment classes to broaden my knowledge. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, which recognizes my commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and community service. Additionally, I am part of the Healthcare Excellence Academy and Lab School, which has provided me with unique opportunities to explore my interests in the healthcare field. I recently completed all the required classroom, clinical work, and exams required for my NR-EMT. I have a strong desire to help people both on and off the lacrosse field.
Teamwork is a core value for me. I believe that learning is a continuous process and I’m always open to new perspectives. Being a team player means working hard for our collective success and supporting my teammates in their growth.
Lacrosse has taught me important lessons about leadership, resilience, and maintaining a positive mindset. I'm excited to bring these qualities to college, where I hope to join a lacrosse team that values hard work, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the field.
By joining your lacrosse team, I’m confident that I will continue to grow as an athlete and a student, contributing to the team’s success and upholding the high standards of your school.
