2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started playing lacrosse in the 7th grade, but it not my first extracurricular activity. Before that I traveled across the country racing ATVs on the national motocross circuit and was a top 5 rider. Also, I raised a Grand Champion steer as part of my 4-H club. I like to win and don't mind the hard work and determination it takes to get to the top. I helped start an off-season travel lacrosse team at my school. Currently during the summers, I travel, play club lacrosse, and help my grandfather at the local food bank.
I have remained on Honor Roll and Principal's Honor Roll with a 4.4 GPA while attending Monticello High School and am a member of the Latin Honor Society. Excelling in both sports and academics is important to me. I look forward to complementing my engineering studies with playing college lacrosse.
