Jack Jenkins '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to combine my love for playing lacrosse with a competitive academic experience. Academically, I am enrolled in the most challenging courses offered at my high school, taking all Honors and IB classes. Athletically, I am a team sport athlete. I have  played lacrosse, basketball and soccer since elementary school. Until this year (my  junior year), I have been undersized  compared to my teammates and my competition. Despite this - or maybe because of this - I have prided myself in competing extra hard and getting up when knocked down. As a sophomore, I led my high school lacrosse team in goals and I was 2nd in assists. I have worked hard on developing my skills, specifically my stick skills and my footwork.  The silver lining is that I have grown 7 inches in the past 12 months and put on 30 pounds in the last 6 months. I am super exited to get back on the field with my teammates this Spring. I can commit to my future college coach that I would be a good citizen, a good student, and a good teammate who would work hard to help the team win.
