Jaymon Funk '20 Recruiting Profile

From a very young age I was introduced to sports.  One sport in particular that I enjoyed was football due to the fact you got to hit people, a lot.  I also enjoyed playing soccer, but due to my size I didn't think it was the right sport for me.   Around 5th grade lacrosse was just coming to my town.  I needed a 2nd sport to play to stay in shape for football,  so when my friends recommended lacrosse to me I decided to try it out.  On my first day I loved it as much as football.  I have played left or right defender and a tiny bit of middle all the way through my career. 

What I can bring to a team is that I am a very physical player,  determination and willingness to learn and adapt.   I am also a silent leader on the field to my teammates.  

I am a 3.98 student who is looking forward to furthering my education with a business degree and eventually go to law school.  It is my goal to be a sports agent.
