Aidan Rubio '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aidan Rubio and I am the eldest son in my Latino family. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in third grade and have been playing box lacrosse since fifth grade. I have essentially grown up around the game as well as helping my dad coach the game as I got older. I pride myself as being an individual that works hard, believes in personal and team accountability and understands that success comes as the result of effort and discipline.

I feel that these characteristics are important not only  in sport but also outside of the boundaries of the game. In school, I have been able to have success academically using the same virtues - hard work, discipline and accountability. Thankfully, I have been surrounded by a supportive family and friends that have similar mindsets and convictions. I hope to continue this pathway after I graduate from college and into whatever future path I take.

I am seeking an educational opportunity that will not only allow me to play the game I love but also provide the tools to allow me to excel throughout my life.  Colleges and universities serve as focal points to provide more than educational tools they also serve as arenas to drive local & global changes.
